Uptown Soccer believes in the power of soccer to change lives. And that youth in our community have the right to play sports regardless of their economic means or backgrounds. Our programs are rooted in the Uptown NY and Bronx communities we serve as we bring the global game to the local level.

Our impact

• ​Over 900 youth served annually​
• Over 400 free drop-in training sessions offered
• Totaling 700 hours of free community programming
• 90% of players are youth of color, with over 20 nationalities represented
• 81% come from low income families
• 92% of participants would recommend the program to a friend
• 75% reported improved self-confidence
• 100% of participants report feeling safe, supported and motivated at the program
